Project Scope

Company and Plant Roll-Out of SAP for a Business process, including the following:

  • Finance & Controlling (FI/CO)
    • Organization structure, Acc. Payable & Receivable, G/L, Chart of Account, Chart of Depreciation, Financial Statement & INDAS, Cost Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Order (CO), Distribution structure (CO),Integration between MM-FI,SD-FI,HR-FI,FI-CO

    • Procure to Pay cycle , Inventory Management , Vendor Evaluation , Multi-level Release strategy for PO, PR & Contract

This customer ran their subsidiary business operation without any standardize process using a paper-based model with using Tally for their new Company and plant, The lack of standardize process lead to data inconsistence and audit noncompliance. The main need all group company can run with similar business process into one system to get Group level transaction and operational data for MIS and other business purpose.

The issue of using other software not getting proper report as requirement and majorly it’s not proper authorize control and it best possible for data manipulation.

VSD Technology understood the customer challenge and as per requirement, for that it recommended the Company and Plant Roll out of SAP.

The major benefit we have from customer that they has good knowledge about the how to use the SAP process structure and Transactions.

VSD technology takes these opportunities by working with customer leadership team to introduce a Strategy that focused on the relationship between people, processes, and systems. It ensured all stakeholders understood the benefit of business process standardization across all company and accept the purpose of the SAP roll out for the new company and plant.

VSD Technology team gave user manual to customer for execute the different process related transaction and update in the user manual, so that customer will get confident about how to use the SAP for the new Company and Plant.

In cutover activity finance transactional data was uploaded from legacy to SAP and reconcile the given data with SAP, also extended required data of one company to other to reduce duplication and redundancy of the data, the same has been checked in Quality system. After getting confirmation from the user the same has been performed for the Production system.

After Go-Live VSD team supported on daily basis, as the system new from the customer we will guide to run the transactions and solve the issues on priority basis.

Business interruption on Go-Live was minimal considering the well-executed Change Management strategy.
